March 1st Lift

Sup fellas? Here's my lift for March 1st 2012. It was a tough one to get motivated for. My mind kept telling me I should take off because i'm on break for school, but I had to throw away my weak thoughts and hit the gym!

Deadlift for 3 sets of 5/3/1+ - 1 set of 5 reps at 320lbs, 1 set of 3 reps at 360lbs, 1 set of 8 reps at 405lbs

Leg Press for 5 sets - 5 sets of 10 reps at 680lbs

Leg Curls for 5 sets - 5 sets of 10 reps at 140lbs

Calf Raises for 4 sets - 4 sets of 10 reps at 210lbs

  1. Atta boy way to let the inner Warrior take control! Sick workout broheeman! Thats a pretty serious leg press there my friend. How many days a week do you do abs? Would you ever consider adding some grip work at the end of your workout? We always finish with some grip work and its a great cool down plus helps all of our other lifts as our hands get stronger.

  2. Grip Phenom! I usually hit abs 4 times a week, with a different cycle for upper and lower workout days. That's a great idea. What does your typically grip workout look like?

  3. Good deal! I'll post some of our core workouts we've been doing. For grip we hit heavy bar timed holds, we'll do hex dumbell holds for time, we do a lot of heavy gripppers too. I'll post the PDF for a sweet grip training program I have too!
